ColdFusion and PHP Website Developer Quicksilver Interactive is need of a part-time website developer to assist in development and maintenance of our custom built content management system (CMS) and e-commerce platform. This position can be setup as an independent contractor or as an employee. We're seeking help for a minimum of 10 hours/wk and maximum of 20 hours/wk. The work can be done in a comfortable environment in our downtown Bend office or remotely from your own facility. This position has the potential to develop into a full time job with expanded responsibilities. The successful candidate will create and update applications built in Cold Fusion, PHP, and JavaScript for our client sites and our own web properties. Creating graphics isn't a necessary requirement but if you are familiar with photoshop and have an eye for design that would be a plus. We host sites on linux servers with MySQL databases. We will coach the right candidate but the following skills must already by in your bag of tricks. The successful candidate will need to be familiar with image mapping, cutting graphics into html ready pieces, and have a portfolio of completed projects exhibiting an exceptional level of creativity. Required Skills Experience with designing for the web Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop software Knowledge of different graphic formats like .jpg, .gif, .png and why and when they are used Desired Skills Familiarity with reading and writing html source code Familiarity with an html editor such as Dreamweaver The graphic designer will be responsible for delivering finished product with files that are error free and can be used without complication in final production.
